KBR Building Group Hosts Trade Fair and Business Networking Event at 2013 National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) Conference in Los Angeles
August 23, 2013

KBR Building Group was actively involved in the National Association of Minority Contractors’ (NAMC) 44th annual conference held earlier this summer in Los Angeles, California. The conference theme was “A New Direction — New Opportunities.” The agenda highlighted industry trends and business opportunities in transportation, healthcare and energy.

A featured sponsor, KBR Building Group hosted both the conference Trade Fair and Match Making Sessions. Both events were held on the second day of this three-day conference and were intended to provide an opportunity for owners, contractors and design professionals to share information on the services they provide and to learn about future business opportunities. Attendance for both sessions was excellent, with positive feedback from participants and conference organizers alike.

Representing our company were Garland Burton, KBR Building Group’s Director of Community Affairs and Diversity, and Brandon Fair, Project Manager for the Honda Aircraft Company’s Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facility currently under construction in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Attendees included construction and design firms, consultants, elected officials, and client representatives from a range of government, university, energy, transportation, and healthcare organizations.
