About the Project

To accommodate its projected growth in Texas, Triumph’s Vought Aircraft Division needed a new facility to support its newest line of aircraft wings. KBR Building Group was selected as the design-builder for the project, teamed with long-time design partner BRPH. Custom-designed to best facilitate the manufacture aircraft wings, Vought’s specialized facility comprises 240,000 sf of manufacturing space with 17,000 sf of attached office area.

Based on the project team’s solid performance, Triumph subsequently awarded KBR Building Group a design-build contract for a second manufacturing facility — an even larger facility now under construction at the same location.
