November 24, 2014

Frank Holley, Executive Vice President of Carolinas-based KBR Building Group, has been asked to serve as 2015 Chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas, which represents more than 1,800 member companies in North and South Carolina. Holley has served on ABC of the Carolinas’ board of directors for the past five years, having just completed a one-year term as vice chairman.

“ABC is the only construction industry association that represents the entire construction team (general contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers, industry professionals) with an equal voice,” said Holley. “In 2015, we will continue to offer support to member companies through education and training opportunities, by supporting political officials that help advance our agenda, and by sponsoring events that help grow our organization and advance our merit-shop philosophy – a belief that construction work should be awarded to the most qualified and best value contractors regardless of labor affiliation. We are committed to being a positive voice for the construction industry in our schools and community – giving students a first-hand look at career options, leading various community service initiatives, and working with local, state and federal leaders on issues important to the construction industry. Most importantly, we will continue to promote the merit-shop construction philosophy."

As Executive Vice President of KBR Building Group, Holley serves as leader of the company’s Research Triangle Park office, heads up national sales, and oversees business development and marketing for the entire company. Holley has been with KBR Building Group for more than 23 years.
