Greenville Employees Give Generously Three Months in a Row
August 6, 2015

Our Greenville office employees supported three different community initiatives in recent months.

Backpack Blessings

A food drive was held to benefit Backpack Blessings, a local ministry that partners with elementary schools and works directly with guidance counselors to identify children who have a need for food assistance. Backpack Blessings currently provides 81 children with child-friendly, easy to prepare, food to take home over the weekend. For more information, visit

Julie Valentine Center

Travel-size toiletries and a variety of personal items, as well as books and toys, were collected for the Julie Valentine Center. This organization assists victims of sexual assault and child abuse — women, teens and children. For more information about the Julie Valentine Center and their programs and services, visit

Greenville Literacy Association

Gently used adult/children’s books, audio CDs and DVDs were collected for the Greenville Literacy Association’s (GLA) “Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap, Book Sale” — an event the organization holds each August to raise money to help improve adult literacy levels in Greenville County. GLA is one of the largest community-based adult literacy programs in South Carolina and one of the most highly developed in the nation. For more information, visit
