August 25, 2016

BE&K Building Group recently participated in the Farnborough International Airshow held July 11-July 17 in Farnborough, England near London. Our company shared exhibit space with the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) — one of more than 1,500 exhibitors from 52 countries.

BE&K Building Group was represented by Executive Vice President Frank Holley, head of National Sales and Business Unit Leader for our RTP office, together with Kenny Anderson, Vice President and Business Unit Leader for our Charleston office, and Hope Alexander, Vice President and Director of Business Development. Besides meeting with new prospects, they had the chance to enhance relationships with existing clients like The Boeing Company, which celebrated its 100th anniversary throughout the week, as well as Bell Helicopter, Gulfstream Aerospace and Triumph Aerostructures.

The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) is focused on recruiting new businesses to the state, supporting the needs of existing businesses, connecting exporters with customers around the globe, helping small business owners get their start, and attracting tourists and visitors from all over the world. As a nonprofit public-private partnership, the EDPNC operates under contract with the North Carolina Department of Commerce, while receiving significant financial support from companies and businesses throughout the state.
