Workforce Appreciation Lunch Held at Florence County Judicial Center
June 12, 2017

On April 28, 2017, Florence County officials held an appreciation lunch for the Florence County Judicial Center’s onsite workforce of nearly 200. In recognition of consistently long hours and weekends worked, Florence County provided chicken bog and barbeque — prepared by the Florence County Sherriff’s Office. The celebration also included a raffle of flat screen TVs, Yeti cups and stadium chairs. All attendees were provided with a t-shirt bearing the BE&K Building Group logo and a rendering of the courthouse.

“We are very grateful to Florence County for a wonderful celebration in recognition of our workforce. I am very proud of our team, and we will continue to work hard to ensure a timely, safe, and successful project completion,” said Danny Mullis, Project Executive.

Construction began on the new three-story, 120,000 square-foot Judicial Center in early 2016 and is on track to complete December 2017. The team has achieved over 175,000 work-hours with no lost-time incidents.
