Advanced Development and Manufacturing Project

This project for Seqirus consisted of three distinct components. A new, 38,000 sf, two-story Technical Services Building (TSB) provided office space, conference rooms, document control, reception, maintenance, and support areas for around 120 people. The Clinical Trial Manufacturing (CTM) component consisted of retrofitting 9,000 sf of existing office space located within Seqirus’ Viral Pilot Plant (VPP). New construction provided clean room production space for formulation, filling (vial and pre-filled syringe), lyophilization and hand-packaging operations. The Warehouse High Density Vertical Storage component included the procurement and installation of six (6) vertical storage units. Each vertical storage unit optimizes storage and accessibility of production and packaging materials, measures the stored material’s weight and dimensions, and mechanically conveys the tray to a stacked location.

We had a review with senior HHS officials. They were very complimentary on the project’s delivery. They said there aren’t many companies (Seqirus) that can build and qualify in this timeframe. Of course, your team played a major role and should be proud of this compliment. Thanks to all your staff for their commitment to seeing this project through!
