On Friday, January 31, 2020, BE&K Building Group and Auro Hotels celebrated a significant project milestone with a topping out ceremony for the new AC Hotel by Marriott. Due to inclement weather and safety concerns, the actual installation of the final steel beam was not possible at the time of celebration, however that did not stop our team from providing workers with a delicious meal and other milestone recognitions.
The 169,000 sf hotel will include 192 guest rooms, five guest suites, one event suite, meeting space, a full-service kitchen, and a rooftop bar featuring event space. The facility will also feature designated retail space at the ground level. The hotel is scheduled to open August 2020.
