BE&K Building Group recently completed a 21,000 sf clean manufacturing, support, and office space upfit for ImagineOptix located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The $5 million, two-phased, partial renovation of an existing multi-story building included ISO 6, class 1000 clean space that required close coordination for custom manufacturing equipment installation. The project also proved challenging due to its tight tolerances for humidity and temperature variations.
ImagineOptix provides breakthrough optical components to its customers for bold solutions to demanding applications necessitating extraordinary light efficiency, very low cost, and tiny form-factors.
Construction began in May of 2019 with completion achieved November 20, 2019.
