Dupont Chestnut Run

Project Renaissance

The first phase of DuPont’s Chestnut Run Plaza (Project Renaissance) was a five-story, 220,000 sf office building designated Building 730. The building includes an 18,000 sf cafeteria designed to accommodate 400 people. The scope of work included site infrastructure items such as utilities, parking and walking paths, as well as a new picnic pavilion for on-site company events. The second phase, Building 735, is a four-story, 170,000 sf facility providing for additional office space, breakout, and conference rooms with a customer care center on the second floor. Building 735 is sited adjacent to Building 730. In total, the two office buildings accommodate approximately 1,500 DuPont employees.

Despite terrible weather when 70 critical path days were lost, the building was turned over to the customers, floor by floor, on schedule to meet their business needs, and the project was complete within DuPont’s authorization limits.
