Patewood Medical Campus Building Program

This program included the addition of a hospital, a medical office building, a central energy plant, and a pedestrian/utility tunnel.
The 190,000 sf, multi-story hospital includes 72-beds and specializes in short-stay surgeries that typically have a one-to-three day hospitalization period — elective surgeries targeting orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, and cosmetic surgeries. Included in this building program was the construction of a new 1,000 lf underground pedestrian/utility tunnel connecting the hospital with a medical office building (MOB C) previously completed by BE&K Building Group. Also provided was a central energy plant providing support to the new hospital and other campus facilities.

What sets BE&K Building Group apart is the willingness to accommodate requests from users, designers, and engineering/maintainers. This soft skill is one that is rarely found in our environment.
