Located adjacent to the Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI), HAECO Americas added a new two-bay, wide-body aircraft maintenance hangar. The 229,000 sf facility is constructed next to existing hangars and includes a 73,000 sf two-story annex. The annex provides support services to the hangar, including an entrance lobby, mechanical, data and information technology, electrical and fire protection, restrooms, shops, and administrative offices. Additional scope included a new 225,000 sf FAA-approved concrete apron providing space for exterior maintenance services and connection to PTI runways.
