Jetblue University

Pilot + Crew Training Center

Designated JetBlue University, the airline uses this 105,000 sf training facility for JetBlue pilots and in-flight crew. The facility also provides support training for the airline’s technical operations and customer service crew. Built on a 14-acre site located on Orlando International Airport property, the project was delivered on-time in just 12 months. JetBlue University contains a three-story administrative area and high-bay simulator halls with associated support space. Administrative components include classrooms, private and open-plan offices, conference/briefing room, auditorium, and cafeteria. The simulator halls house a total of six pilot flight training simulators and two cabin simulators. The design allows for the addition of two more pilot flight training simulators.

The fact that the BE&K Building Group team weathered four hurricanes and still brought the project in on time and on budget is a true testament to hard work and dedication of the company.
