Bakery Facility

Pepperidge Farm’s bakery produces swirl breads and croutons, and has the capacity to produce 20 million pounds of stuffing annually. Our scope of work included site development; building steel and precast concrete erection; facility mechanical, electrical and plumbing requirements; and the installation of process refrigeration, steam, and power distribution systems. The facility’s interior features insulated metal panels. Despite the severest winter in the Northeast in the preceding 15 years, BE&K met all schedule milestones and obtained a certificate of occupancy earlier than originally scheduled.
