Texas A&M University joined in a partnership with the City of McAllen and The Rio Grande Valley to bring enhanced educational opportunities to the rapidly growing region. The McAllen Campus is an extension of the flagship College Station campus and will be held to the same standards. The new facility will be used by the school’s Colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, Science, and Liberal Arts. It will house small and mid-size general classrooms, lab spaces for engineering and technology classes, as well as administrative offices.
