The Boeing Company

Advanced Composite Manufacturing Center

Located on a secure 21.5-acre site within Boeing’s Mesa campus, the Advanced Composites Fabrication Center is a mission-critical manufacturing facility designed to support next-generation aerospace components. The 167,000-square-foot facility is engineered for precision, security, and continuous high-performance critical operations.

Mission-critical mechanical, electrical, and process utilities are supported by a detached Central Utility Plant (CUP), ensuring redundancy, reliability, and maintainability without disrupting production. Secure logistics are facilitated by a truck inspection booth and strategically designed circulation routes for uninterrupted materials flow.

Situated within a 100-meter security perimeter, the facility is designed for operational security and resilience. The building’s tilt-up concrete construction, high-performance exterior shading, and limited perimeter landscaping reinforce both energy efficiency and defense-in-depth principles.

Built with tilt-up concrete panels and strategic shading features, the facility balances efficiency and durability. This advanced center supports Boeing’s evolving composite technologies and underscores their long-term investment in high-performance, secure manufacturing infrastructure.
