BE&K AND VGXI CELEBRATE TOPPING OUT OF NEW HEADQUARTERS AND MANUFACTURING FACILITY
On Monday, April 19, BE&K held a Topping Out Celebration for VGXI’s New Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility in Conroe, Texas. Project team members, subcontractors, and VGXI employees celebrated by signing the steel beam, enjoying a catered lunch, and participating in a raffle drawing.
This initial phase will expand the company’s ability to produce gene and DNA based therapies, quintupling the company’s current production capabilities. This 118,000 sf greenfield facility will serve as a symbol of VGXI’s commitment to innovation within the contract pharmaceutical industry and will set a standard for biomanufacturing facilities to come.
The project is on track to reach completion at the end of this year with the site becoming operational in early 2022.
It has been a pleasure working with BE&K to get the project to this stage. They have been working diligently to meet the timelines and ensure the project stays on track. VGXI is excited to reach this milestone and looks forward to the building completion and what this state-of-the-art facility will bring to the industry.
