April 17, 2018 marked the topping out of the AURO Hotels — Residence Inn + SpringHill Suites project in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. AURO Hotels was represented by Founder and Chairman H.P. Rama, Chief Financial Officer Luke Finlay, Vice President Sid Wall, Vice President Darwin Brumley, and Director of Construction Steve Fairley. Representing BE&K Building Group was Tim Parker, Shawn Rodwell, Mark Manos, and Darren Searcy, accompanied by many additional team members from our Greenville headquarters.
This new $43.5 million, eight-story, 286-key hotel in downtown Greenville encompasses two hotel brands in one facility — a Residence Inn and a SpringHill Suites, both by Marriott. The 250,000-square-foot hotel is located on the corner of Spring and Washington Streets, and is directly adjacent to BE&K Building Group’s corporate headquarters. The hotel features one level of underground parking, pool, conference and event space, full bar, and restaurant, as well as designated retail space.

The team has done an outstanding job on this project, and we are one step closer in helping Auro Hotels add to their downtown Greenville presence.”
