Duke Selects BE&K Building Group as Construction Manager for Tenant Improvement Project

BE&K Building Group (BE&K) has been selected as the Construction Manager for Duke University School of Medicine’s Tenant Improvement project at its new Parmer Research Triangle Park (RTP) campus. The school has leased 273,000 sf of space that will be retrofitted to provide additional laboratory and research space for the school.

Since the opening of the RTP campus, Duke has invested in the development and clinical testing of various vaccines. The Duke Human Vaccine Institute (DHVI) plans to relocate to the Parmer campus and is currently performing clinical trials to test influenza and COVID-19 vaccines.

BE&K is proud to have been selected for this important and timely project for Duke University’s School of Medicine. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of providing Construction Management services for this distinguished client. This project represents our first opportunity to deliver BE&K’s expertise through our Life Sciences Center of Excellence to Duke University.
