BE&K Building Group recently completed the Nursing and Health Sciences Building at Texas A&M University-Commerce. The $40 million facility houses the University’s departments of Nursing, Health and Human Performance, and its new Biomedical Institute for Regenerative Research. The building was designed to create enhanced opportunities for collegial interdisciplinary education, collaborative teaching, and research.
BE&K Building Group provided preconstruction and construction services for the 112,000 sf, three-story project. The building includes state-of-the-art laboratories, equipment for practical learning, a simulation hospital, and additional classrooms.
This state-of-the-art building will provide a significant boost to the university’s academic and research activity, which will have long-term benefits for the region and the state. It will be a visually stunning and memorable addition to the beautiful A&M-Commerce campus.
